Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a premier Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced a Walk-In Written Test for Graduate Apprentices and Optional Trade (OPTN) Apprenticeship Training for the 2025–26 batch. The opportunity is offered under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for a one-year apprenticeship program at BEL Kotdwara, Uttarakhand.

The selection drive is aimed at fresh graduates in engineering and management streams who wish to gain valuable industry exposure through a structured apprenticeship with India’s leading professional electronics organization.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have completed BE/B.Tech or BBA/BBM/BBS from institutions recognized by AICTE/GoI on or after 01/07/2022.

• Maximum age: 21 years as on 01/11/2025

  • Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years

• Minimum graduation marks:

  • General/OBC: 60% and above

  • SC/ST: 40% and above

• Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under NATS are not eligible.

• Candidates pursuing or possessing higher qualifications are not eligible.

• Degree/Provisional Degree is mandatory during verification.

Stipend & Benefits

Graduate Apprentices (BE/B.Tech) – ₹17,500 per month

• ₹13,000 from BEL
• ₹4,500 via Government DBT

Optional Trade (BBA/BBM/BBS) – ₹12,500 per month

• ₹8,000 from BEL
• ₹4,500 via Government DBT

Selection Process

• Selection will be based solely on merit marks secured in the written test.
• Shortlisted candidates will be notified through email.
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written test.
• The Apprenticeship Training period is one year.
• Apprenticeship does not guarantee future employment at BEL.
