Job Description
The selected candidates will work with experienced engineers and designers on various building and infrastructure projects. The role requires knowledge of facade systems, drafting skills, and the ability to understand architectural and structural drawings.
Candidates should have knowledge of facade systems involving aluminium, steel, glass, and cladding materials. They should be able to interpret architectural and structural drawings and prepare detailed shop drawings as per project requirements.
The role also involves preparation of fabrication detailing and Bill of Material / BOM using Microsoft Excel. Candidates should be comfortable working in a team environment and coordinating with senior engineers, designers, and other project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Jr. Facade Engineer will be responsible for preparing facade shop drawings for various types of building and infrastructure projects.
Major responsibilities include:
- Preparing drawings in AutoCAD as per project requirements
- Working on facade shop drawings and detailing
- Understanding project drawings and design requirements
- Preparing Bill of Material in Microsoft Excel
- Coordinating with engineers, designers, and project teams
- Supporting fabrication detailing and drawing documentation
- Understanding interdisciplinary interfaces in building projects
- Maintaining quality and accuracy in CAD drawings
Required Skills
Candidates should have proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed shop drawings. Knowledge of facade materials such as glass, aluminium, steel, and cladding will be useful for this role.
Good oral and written communication skills are also important. Candidates should be self-motivated, proactive, willing to learn, and capable of working as part of a team.
