JOIN OUR GEOSERVICES DEPARTMENT IN CHENNAI

In our Geoservices unit, you will join a team of skilled experts who specialize in working on digitization projects for many engineering disciplines. The primary specialty of this unit is converting point clouds into BIM and CAD models.

DESIGN THE FUTURE WITH A GLOBAL TEAM OF EXPERTS

In this position, you will join our global team of experts and work closely with the Head of Section-BIM; your most delicate task in our team will be the preparation of high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings in line with CAD/BIM standards.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

Be responsible for the production of 3D models and utility drawings
Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Be able to set up the drawings sheets
Identify, interpret, and apply required client/BIM standards and ensure that the models and drawings comply with quality standards
Have working knowledge of standards and codes and EDMS such as Projectwise, BIM 360
Be responsible for completion of specifically assigned tasks within agreed time and cost

To do well in this position, we believe that you work independently and have the overview to plan, organise and complete your projects and tasks & follow structured and detail-oriented work approach with focus on quality and maintain a good collaboration with team depending on the project requirements.
Furthermore, you should:

Hold a Diploma / Bachelor’s degree. and come with 5-10 years of work experience in CAD Drafting. Working experience within utilities/infrastructure field is an added advantage.
Have experience in 3D modelling of pipes/manholes and 2D drafting using MicroStation. Experience in AutoCAD would be an added advantage.
Be proficient in all Microsoft Office software particularly MS Excel and Word. Experience in georeferencing and ProjectWise is an added advantage
Have good language skills in English (spoken and written)
Have the ability to work independently within a project team
