Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview on the basis of valid score obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024/2025/2026. Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the post of Executive Trainee.
Eligible & interested candidates are required to apply online on dedicated web portal www.npcilcareers.co.in of NPCIL. Online registration commences on 10/04/2026 (1000 Hrs) and closes on 30/04/2026 (1600 Hrs).

Education Qualification
BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5 year Integrated M Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the 6 engineering disciplines mentioned in the Table below from University/Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC. A minimum of 60% marks means the marks as per the ordinances of the respective university.

Interview Schedule & Venue
Interviews are scheduled tentatively from 8th to 19th June, 2026. Interviews will be conducted at Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-Maharashtra, Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS)-Uttar Pradesh, Madras Atomic Power Station (MAPS)- Tamil Nadu and Kaiga Generating Station (KGS)-Karnataka. Candidates are advised to indicate preference of venue to appear for interview in the online application form. However, NPCIL reserves the right to allocate Date/Venue for interview as it may deem fit which will be duly informed to
The candidate and no further request for any change shall be entertained in this regard.
How to Apply
- Registration number provided on the Admit Card for GATE 2024, GATE 2025 and GATE 2026, as the case may be, issued by GATE Authorities has to be used for applying in NPCIL. Candidates need to ensure that
they fill up the GATE Registration Number correctly and apply for the relevant discipline in Online Application Form. Requests for correction in GATE Registration number or Discipline will not be entertained. - Eligible applicants may apply through online registration system of NPCIL. Applications submitted in any other form including handwritten/ typewritten applications in hard format delivered in
person or by other means will not be entertained. DO NOT SEND any of the documents/ application form etc. to NPCIL before interview. - Applicants are requested to read the eligibility criteria and ensure that they meet all the criteria before applying.
- Applicants are advised, in their own interest, to apply online much before the closing date and not wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability/failure to log on to the website on account of heavy load on internet or website jam. NPCIL is not responsible for any delay by candidate in submission of application.
- Applicant must ensure that she/he has valid GATE 2024, GATE 2025 and GATE 2026 Score with qualifying marks applicable in the discipline against which she/he wish to apply.
- An applicant has to apply through online application form provided on the website www.npcilcareers.co.in only.
- The online application form will be available on the website from 10/04/2026 at 1000 Hrs. to 30/04/2026 (1600 Hrs.).
