• Project Field Assistant  – 10 Posts (UR-6, SC-1, OBC-2, EWS-1)
• Project Junior Assistant   –  12 Posts(UR-5, ST-2. SC-3, OBC-1, EWS-1)
• Research Associate  –  6 Posts (UR-4, SC-1, OBC-1)

Qualification

• M.Sc. in Marine Biology/ Marine Science/ Zoology from a recognized university /Institute with 60%marks
  in the qualifying degree level.
• M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical / Thermal /Production / Marine /Naval Architecture/Ocean Engg./ Industrial
  Engineering from a recognized University / Institute with 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
• Masters Degree in Oceanography /Physical Oceanography/ Physics/ Chemical Oceanography/ Ocean
  Technology / Ocean Science from a recognized University / Institute with 60% marks in the qualifying
  degree level.
• M.E. / M.Tech. in Electronics & Communication /Electronics / Applied Electronics/ VLSI Design/ Embedded system design/Instrumentation & Control/Communication systems from a recognized university or institute with 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
• Master’s Degree in Oceanography/Physical Oceanography/Chemical Oceanography/Physics/Ocean Technology/ Ocean science from a recognized university with 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
• M.Sc in Biotechnology/Marine Biotechnology from a recognized university /Institute with 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
• B.E/B.Tech. in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engg from a recognized University / Institute with 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
• B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engg. from a recognized university /Institute with 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
• Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/Biochemistry from a recognized University / Institute
  with 60% marks in the qualifying degree level.
• Three years Diploma in Mechanical /Mechatronics /Automobile Engineering from a recognized Institute with 60% marks.
• B.Sc Computer Science / BCA /Three years Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized University/ Institute with 60% marks.
• Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institute with 60% marks.
• 10th standard with two years ITI Tradesman Course in Fitter approved by National Council for Vocational
  Training or its equivalent from recognized Institutions.

Age Limit

Not exceeding 28 years. (applicable age-relaxation for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Ex-servicemen candidates as per orders issued by Central Govt. from time to time will be allowed).

• The candidates applying for the posts should apply on-line through web link https://www.niot.res.in/recruitment_details.php and shall download the filled in application form generated online and produce the same at the time of registration for interview/ Test.
• The candidate must read the instructions thoroughly before the filling the application forms.
• The candidate is requested to visit NIOT website periodically to keep track of new announcements and changes, if any.
• In case of technical difficulty in filling the online application form, please send an e-mail to sysadmin@niot.res.in indicating the problem faced alongwith the screen shot.
• The candidate has to fill the application online and upload recent passport size colour photograph and
  scanned copies of the documents listed below:-
  (i) Educational Qualification Certificates from 10th Standard onwards.
  (ii) Mark List & Degree Certificate.
  (iii) Experience certificates issued by the Employer.
  (iv) Certificate in prescribed format (in respect of candidates seeking relaxation for Central Government Employees).
  (v) Certificate in prescribed format (in respect of candidates claiming reservation under OBC/SC/ST/EWS Category).
  (vi) Certificate in prescribed format (in respect of candidates seeking relaxation as Exservicemen &PwD category).
  (vii) Copies of Publications/ Reprints of the Journal.
  (viii) No objection certificate (in respect of candidates employed in Government/autonomous Institutions and PSU).
