NHSRCL Technician Eligibility Criteria 2026
For all Technician posts, candidates must have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field within Operations and Maintenance departments of Indian Railways, Government-owned or Government-operated Railways, Metro Railways, or RRTS systems.
Candidates must submit a Competency Certificate or Experience Certificate issued by the employer. The certificate should clearly mention the required work experience, including year-wise details of the nature and type of work performed.

Civil/Track Technician Posts
Technicians in the Civil/Track domain will be responsible for civil and track inspection, surveying, civil/track maintenance, operation and maintenance of civil/track structures, store activities, and related work for HSR civil systems, depots, stations and associated infrastructure works. The role may involve shift duties, night-shift maintenance and emergency restoration works as per high-speed rail operational requirements.
Electrical Technician Posts
Electrical Technicians will support maintenance, operation, inspection, testing and troubleshooting of HSR electrical systems, including Traction Power Supply, transmission and distribution power supply systems, Overhead Equipment, E&M systems, utility relocation/modification, SCADA and affected work areas. Shift duties and emergency restoration activities may be required.
Signalling & Telecom Technician Posts
Technicians in the Signalling & Telecom domain will work on supervision and maintenance of Electronic Interlocking systems, ATP/ATO, signals, point machines, axle counters, radio, telephone exchange, PA, PIDS, CCTV, FOTS, clocks and telecom systems. The role may also involve staff training, maintenance manuals, procedures, reports and O&M contract management.
Rolling Stock Technician Posts
