Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam. As proof of residence, candidates must upload a valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purposes or an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an institute recognized by AICTE.
The diploma must be obtained through a regular course. Diploma qualifications obtained through distance mode will not be considered.
Age Limit
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old as on 1 January 2026.
Age relaxation is applicable as follows:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per applicable government rules
- PwBD candidates: 10 years, irrespective of category
The date of birth will be verified only through the Class X/Class XII admit card, pass certificate, or marksheet issued by a recognized board or council.
Application Fee
The application fee includes the processing fee charged through the online recruitment portal.
General Candidates: ₹297.20
OBC/MOBC Candidates: ₹197.20
SC/ST/BPL/PwBD Candidates: ₹47.20
Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
