Eligibility Criteria for NHIDCL Associate Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Graduation degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline from IITs, NITs, or other institutions ranked within the top 100 in the Engineering category of NIRF Rankings for the year of graduation. Candidates completing graduation may also apply, provided the degree is likely to be completed before joining.

Associates deployed in Regional Offices, Project Monitoring Units, or Site Offices located in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands will be eligible for a Location Allowance of 20% of the prescribed consultancy fee for the actual deployment period. An annual enhancement of 5% in the consultancy fee is also applicable as per the notice.
Duration of Engagement
The NHIDCL Associate engagement will be purely contractual. The initial tenure will be 2 years, extendable by 1 year at a time up to a maximum tenure of 3 years. Continuation beyond the first and subsequent years will depend on the decision of the Consultants’ Review Committee.

Selected Associates may support NHIDCL Regional Offices, Project Management Units, Site Offices, and other project divisions. The indicative Terms of Reference include:
- Project Preparation and Design Appraisal: Assisting in feasibility studies, DPR review, alignment plans, and compliance checks with IRC and MoRTH standards.
- Construction Supervision and Project Monitoring: Conducting field visits, monitoring physical and financial progress, and reporting on quality, safety, and specification compliance.
- Contract and Documentation Support: Supporting contract management, correspondence, technical notes, MIS updates, and project documentation.
- Quality Assurance and Technical Compliance: Reviewing test results, site practices, approved drawings, QAPs, and quality-related records.
