National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL) is a premier research laboratory under the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR). In addition to many Research, Development, and Technology Programmes in Aerospace, CSIR-NAL is actively involved in supporting the National Aerospace Programmes of ADA, DRDO, ISRO, HAL, and IAF. Further, CSIR-NAL has a strong program in Civil Aviation including the nationally
important project of design and development of a multirole Light Transport Aircraft(SARAS). CSIR-NAL is also exploring several aerospace technologies into spin-off industrial applications. It has excellent facilities in all the aerospace disciplines.

- ME/M.Tech in the area of Electronic & Communication Engineering.
- ME/M.Tech in the area of Mechanical Engineering with specialization in machine design / production / industrial engineering.
- ME/M.Tech in the area of Systems Engineering /Aerospace Engineering /Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
- ME/M.Tech in the area of Computer Science /Information Science / ECE /EEE / Instrumentation and
Control / Aerospace Engineering. - M.E/ M.Tech in the area of Power Electronics / Electrical Machines and Drives / Power System / Control and Automation.
- ME/M.Tech in the area of Mechanical Engineering /Machine Design.

Age Limit
The Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years for Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) and 3 years for Other Backward Class [OBC (NCL)], as per Government Orders in force, only in respect of those cases which the posts / vacancies are reserved for respective categories.
Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay application fee of ₹500/- as per ‘Fee Payment Procedure’ available on the
website. No fee is payable, subject to uploading of relevant document, for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/
Ex-Servicemen. Applications without the prescribed fee will not be considered and summarily rejected.
