1. Project Management Institute (PMI)
The Project Management Institute (PMI) is a nonprofit organization that provides certification and education for project management professionals.
PMI offers three levels of certification: Certified Professional (CP), Associate Professional (AP), and Professional (P).
To be eligible for certification, candidates must have at least two years of experience in the project management field and pass an exam. PMI also offers a variety of education programs, including online courses and seminars.

2. Association for Project Management (APM)
The Association for Project Management (APM) is the UK’s largest professional body for project managers, with over 30,000 members. APM offers the Certified Project Manager (CPM), an internationally recognized qualification.
The CPM is suitable for those with at least three years of project management experience. There is no formal exam for the CPM, but you must complete a portfolio of evidence demonstrating your skills and knowledge.

3. International Project Management Association (IPMA)
Founded in 1965 and registered in Switzerland, International Project Management Association (IPMA) is the World’s first global project management professional organization.
IPMA is an international federation of more than 70 national project management associations or Member Associations (MAs) in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Americas.
MAs develop project management competencies in their geographic areas of influence, interacting with thousands of practitioners and developing relationships with corporations, government agencies, universities, and colleges, as well as training organizations and consulting companies.

PMSA is a not-for-profit professional association governed by a Board of Directors and managed and administered by a National Office. Certain strategic activities are executed by a volunteer National Executive Committee. PMSA aims to advance professional project management in South Africa.
PMSA is the voluntary professional association representing the interests of project, programme and portfolio management practitioners in South Africa and Southern Africa.
6. Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM)
The Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) is the national body for the project management profession in Australia.
The Institute has a wide range of resources available for members, including blogs on various topics related to project management. Engaging, educating, and advocating for Australian project professionals.

7. Construction Management Association of America (CMAA)
The Construction Management Association of America is a non-profit, non-governmental, professional association serving the construction management industry. The Association was formed in 1982.

Construction management is compatible with all project delivery methods. No matter the setting, a Construction Manager’s (CMs) responsibility is to the owner and to a successful project.
