Project:Â This is a 3 million sq. ft. high-rise residential project in south Mumbai with a panoramic view of the racecourse, comprising of three 250 metres – 270 metres tall towers, 3 basements, and a nine-level podium structure with 60-70 habitable floors.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Working alongside the Mace planners in developing construction strategies and sequences.
- Acting as the main technical adviser on construction sites for subcontractors, craftspeople, and operatives.
- Implementing the pre-construction studies through the design and construction phases of projects.
- Assisting in managing and delivery of the project.
- Checking the plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
- Managing, monitoring, and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect.
- Liaising with the subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Communicating with clients and their representatives includes attending regular meetings to keep them informed of the project’s progress.
- Overseeing the quality control and health and safety matters on site.
- Preparing reports as and when required.
- Assisting in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
About You:
You have a degree qualification in civil engineering and are a member of a professional body. You have major project experience specifically with residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You have knowledge of the construction industry.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and manage dynamic, motivated teams. You will have experience in large design office construction or project management background and be keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
