Quantity Surveyor – Pre Contracts

Designation – Quantity surveyor (Team Lead) (Civil & MEP)
Experience – 3 to 5 years
Educational Qualification – Diploma / BTech / BE in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Degree or Diploma in Quantity surveying
Software proficiency – AutoCAD, MS Excel, Plan Swift, Cost X, Blue Beam
Document proficiency – POMI, CESMM, NRM, IS1200
Additional Skills required –
1. Should have experience in Pre-Contract works (Minimum 4 Years (2 Years Gulf based projects, Min 1-year site experience).
2. Prepare project scope
3. Daily reports on Close out, Check chart with team, Planned vs actual tasks
4. Ability to understand the project scope of work.
5. Good Communication skills both in written & verbal.
6. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
8. Team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively.
9. Demonstrate Team management skills.
10. Prepare productivity report

Job Responsibilities –
1. Read the documents and understand the scope of works.
2. Prepare itemized checklist.
3. Prepare Query.
4. Quantity take off from the drawings and specifications.
5. Allocate the works to team members
6. Collaborate with team members on various tasks to enhance learning and development.
7. Provide necessary training / guidance to Junior QS / Trainees
8. Verify the quantity take off of team members
9. Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
10. Perform Check Chart
11. Verify addendum and prepare changes list & change order
12. Complete the project in the given time
13. Prepare weekly HR productivity reports
14. Coordination with HO team.
15. Coordination with QS Manager & Report daily
16. Report daily tasks Planned vs Actual.
17. Report delays and risks
