Applications are invited for selection of Technician Apprentices (Diploma in Engg.) under Apprenticeship Act, 1961 at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), for the training year 2023-2024, from candidates who acquired a Diploma in Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education coming under the Southern Region of Board of Apprenticeship Training (Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry).

Qualification
First Class Diploma in Engg. (three years duration) awarded by a State Board of Technical Education in respective field. Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing Apprenticeship training. under Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 1973, or having one year or more experience from any institution are not eligible to apply. Combining of apprenticeships with other institutions is not permitted.
How to Apply
- Applications will be received from the candidates only through the walk-in interview on 07.10.2023 as per the above-mentioned instructions Applications will not be accepted through any other means.
- The duration of training will be one year from the date of joining and the stipend is 8000/- per month. Interested candidates may visit the VSSC pavilion during the Centralised Interview arranged jointly by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), Chennai, and the Directorate of Technical Education, Kerala as per the following schedule
