Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Required qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized board, university, institution, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government
- Candidates must also possess basic computer knowledge and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both
- Candidates holding a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 33 years as on 2 May 2026.
Application Fee
- All candidates applying under the General category must pay the fee.
- SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, ex-servicemen, and PwD candidates are exempt from the application fee.
- Fee must be paid online through SBI e-Pay at the OJAS portal using debit card, UPI, internet banking, NEFT, or credit card.
- No refund will be given under any circumstances.
- If a general-category candidate confirms the application but fails to pay the regular online fee in time, a one-time late process-fee option of ₹500 in cash is available at the GPSSB office from 4 May 2026 to 6 May 2026, subject to the conditions stated in the notice.
How to Apply (Online)
- Applications are accepted online only through https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
- Candidates should open the current advertisement under GPSSB, read the detailed notice, and apply either through OTR (One Time Registration) or by entering details manually.
- The uploaded photograph must remain the same throughout the process. The notice advises candidates to keep 4–5 copies of the same photograph.
- After filling the form, candidates must save it, note the Application Number, preview the application carefully, and then confirm it.
- Once the application is confirmed, no correction will be allowed.
- A Confirmation Number will be generated after confirmation, and the candidate should keep both the confirmed application printout and the confirmation number safely.
