E-7 Grade (General Manager): Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical/Petrochemical/Chemical Technology) with 24 years of post-qualification executive experience. Upper age limit: 54 years.

E-6 & E-5 Grades (DGM & Chief Manager – Fire & Safety): Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Fire/Fire & Safety) with a minimum of 55% marks and relevant post-qualification experience (20 years for E-6, 16 years for E-5).

E-1 Grade (Senior Engineer/Officer): Requires a relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or specific professional qualifications (like CA/ICWA for Finance, or ACS for Company Secretariat) with a minimum of 60% marks and 1 year of post-qualification experience. Upper age limit: 30 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India directives (5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC-NCL, and up to 15 years for PwBD candidates). The cut-off date for determining the age limit and post-qualification experience is August 1, 2026.
Emoluments and Benefits
Selected candidates will be placed on probation for one year. Compensation includes Basic Pay, Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA), Perquisites (35% of basic pay), North-East allowance (10% of basic pay), HRA, Medical Facility, Post Retirement Medical Scheme (PRMS), and a Defined Contribution Pension Scheme (DCPS).
