Central Water and Power Research Station CWPRS Walk-In invites applications in the prescribed format from young and meritorious Indian nationals for the engagement of Two Junior Research Fellows (JRF). Necessary details such as No. of vacancies, Duration of fellowship, Educational qualification, Desirable experience, Emoluments etc. is given in the table.
Advertisement for the selection of JRF is on contract basis through Walk-in-Interview for the project entitled “Field survey, Mathematical Model and Remote Sensing Studies for Coastal Processes associated with Coastal Erosion, Shoreline Changes Assessment at few locations in Maharashtra Coast” under National Hydrology Project under Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India. The positions are temporary for a period of 3 Years or coterminous with the term of the project, whichever is earlier.

Qualification
- Post Graduate Degree in Basic Sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Scholars who are qualified National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship and
GATE - Scholars who are qualified National level examination conducted by Central Government
Departments and their agencies and Institutional such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD,
ICAR, ICMR IIT, IISC, IISER etc. - Knowledge of computer and numerical modelling techniques.
Emoluments per month
Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
Age Limit
The upper age limit for JRF is 28 years on the day on which application is made. A relaxation can be considered for suitable qualified and experienced candidates if so recommended by the selection committee. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/women and physically handicapped candidates as per Government of India norms
