Education Qualification for BHEL Recruitment 2026
- Full-Time Degree (For Project Engineers) or Full-Time Diploma (For Project Supervisors) with at least 60%
Marks (50% for SC/ST) or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all the years/semesters from recognized
University/ Institution. - Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Age Limit
32 years as on 01.03.2025 with minimum 1-year cumulative post qualification relevant work experience.
3 years for OBC candidates (Non-Creamy Layer).
- 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- The definition of Locomotor disability and Hearing Impairment for Physically Challenged candidates are
as per ‘The Persons with Disabilities (Equal opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation)
Act, 1995. Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) Candidates age limit relaxation is: - By 10 year for General.

ii. Candidates belonging to EWSs/SC/ST/OBC/ Persons with Disability /Ex-servicemen category should
enclose self-attested copy of the certificate issued by the Competent Authority to that effect.
iii. Self-undertaking (Undertaking format) by the OBC candidate belonging to non-creamy layer.
iv. If claiming age relaxation as candidate from J & K, relevant certificate.
v. Mark sheets of all semesters/consolidated mark sheet of Degree/Diploma qualification.
vi. Additional qualification, if any.
vii. Proof of norms adopted by the University/ Institute to convert CGPA/OGPA/DGPA into percentage.
viii. Offer of Appointment / Joining Letter / Experience Certificate issued by the Employer along with
First and Last Salary Slip (required as proof of period of service).
