SPMCIL Educational Qualifications

Deputy Manager – IT Application Developer

Candidates must possess a first-class, full-time B.E. or B.Tech degree from a recognised university or institute in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electronics and Communication Engineering, with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA.

Applicants must also have at least three years of post-qualification executive experience in a PSU, government organisation or reputed private company having annual turnover above ₹50 crore.

Relevant development experience must include technologies such as C#, Java, JavaScript, ASP.NET or PHP.

Assistant Manager – Human Resources

Candidates must hold a first-class, full-time master’s degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations, MSW or MBA with an HR elective from a recognised university or management institute.

A first-class, two-year full-time postgraduate diploma in management with an HR elective, recognised as equivalent to an MBA, is also acceptable.

Assistant Manager – Finance and Accounts

A Bachelor of Commerce degree along with CA or ICWA qualification is required.

Assistant Manager – Materials Management

Candidates must possess a first-class, full-time engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Technology, Electronics Engineering or Printing Technology.

In addition, a two-year postgraduate degree, postgraduate diploma or MBA is required in Materials Management, Stores Management, Purchase, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management.

Assistant Manager – Information Technology

Candidates must possess a first-class, full-time MCA or a first-class B.Tech degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology.

Assistant Manager – Official Language

A first-class master’s degree from a recognised university in Hindi or English is required, with English or Hindi studied at graduation level. A candidate holding a postgraduate degree in English must have studied Hindi at graduation level and vice versa.

Candidates must also have two years of experience translating from Hindi to English and English to Hindi.

Knowledge of Sanskrit or another modern Indian language and proficiency in working on computers in Hindi are desirable.

Assistant Manager – Safety

Candidates must satisfy one of the following experience and qualification combinations:

  • A recognised engineering or technology degree with at least two years of supervisory factory experience;
  • A recognised degree in Physics or Chemistry with at least five years of supervisory factory experience;
  • A recognised engineering or technology diploma with at least six years of supervisory factory experience; or
  • A recognised engineering or technology degree or diploma with at least six years of full-time experience in training, education, consultancy or research related to accident prevention.

Candidates must additionally possess a recognised degree or diploma in Industrial Safety.

Adequate knowledge of Hindi or Marathi is required according to the place of posting. Where a candidate does not possess the required language knowledge, it must be acquired after selection.

Age Limit and Relaxation

Age, educational qualifications and post-qualification experience will be calculated as on 24 August 2026.

  • SC and ST candidates may receive five years of upper-age relaxation for reserved vacancies.
  • OBC candidates may receive three years of upper-age relaxation for reserved vacancies.
  • PwBD–UR candidates may receive ten years of relaxation.
  • PwBD–OBC candidates may receive thirteen years of relaxation.
  • PwBD–SC/ST candidates may receive fifteen years of relaxation.
  • PwBD relaxation applies to candidates having at least 40% benchmark disability.
  • Ex-servicemen age relaxation will be provided under applicable government rules.

No reserved-category age relaxation will apply when an SC, ST or OBC candidate applies for an unreserved vacancy.
