DGQA Technician Educational Qualification

Fitter Auto

Candidates must possess an ITI pass certificate in Automobile Mechanic, Motor Vehicle Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic trade. An equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by the Central Government or a State Government is also acceptable.

Electrician Mate

Candidates must possess an ITI pass certificate in the Electrician trade or an equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by the Central Government or a State Government.

Labourer

Candidates must have passed ITI in any trade or completed a Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by the Central Government or a State Government.

Any additional qualification already obtained or being pursued as on the closing date should be disclosed in the application form.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The applicant must be between 18 and 27 years as on the application closing date. The date of birth must match the Matriculation certificate, birth certificate issued by a competent authority or e-PPO in the case of an ex-serviceman.

Aadhaar is not accepted as proof of date of birth, although a self-attested Aadhaar copy is included in the application document checklist.

DGQA Technician Salary and Benefits

Selected candidates will be appointed under Pay Matrix Level 1 with a basic pay range of ₹18,000 to ₹56,900 under the Seventh Central Pay Commission.

Applicable benefits may include dearness allowance, house rent allowance, transport allowance, children education allowance, leave travel concession, medical facilities, CSD facilities and other allowances or advances under Government of India rules. Employees will be covered under the National Pension System or Unified Pension Scheme according to the applicable government provisions.

The initial probation period will be two years. Although the initial postings are in Chennai and Telangana, selected candidates may be required to serve anywhere in India, including field locations and remote areas.
