The apprenticeship training will be offered for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible Indian nationals can apply online through the NATS and NAPS portals, depending on the category of apprenticeship.

Qualifications for NCL Recruitment

Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must possess the relevant degree, diploma, ITI certificate, or paramedical qualification required for the discipline they are applying for.
- The qualification must be obtained through a full-time regular course.
- Qualifications obtained through part-time, correspondence, or distance learning mode will not be accepted.
- Candidates who passed their Graduation, Diploma, or ITI course before June 2022 are not eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training, are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have one year or more of job experience are not eligible.
- Candidates possessing higher qualifications over and above the prescribed qualification will not be considered eligible for the notified positions.
- Candidates must have completed the required qualification from a recognized institute, university, board, or council. The institute must be functional and operational in either Uttar Pradesh or Madhya Pradesh.\
- Candidates applying for Graduate and Diploma Apprentice positions must register on the National Apprentice Training Scheme (NATS) portal.
- Candidates applying for ITI Trade Apprentice positions must register on the National Apprentice Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal.
Age Limit
- The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 26 years as on 1 June 2026.
- Candidates should have been born on or between 1 June 2000 and 1 June 2008.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
- SC/ST candidates are eligible for 5 years of age relaxation.
- OBC-NCL candidates are eligible for 3 years of age relaxation.
- PwBD candidates are eligible for 10 years of age relaxation.
- PwBD candidates belonging to SC/ST category are eligible for 15 years of age relaxation.
- PwBD candidates belonging to OBC-NCL category are eligible for 13 years of age relaxation.
Selection Process
- The selection will be based on merit.
- For Graduate and Diploma Apprentice positions, merit will be prepared based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- For ITI Trade Apprentice positions, merit will be prepared based on the average percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation and the relevant ITI Trade Certificate.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for scrutiny of original documents.
- Final engagement will be subject to successful document verification and medical fitness as per the prescribed standards.
