Qualification and Experience

  • A Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5-10 years experience in secondary design and engineering function executing large projects.
  • Through knowledge of Substation protection and conventional control systems. In-depth Product knowledge of ABB and competitors.
  • Working knowledge & understanding of SCMS systems and communication protocols.

Your responsibilities

  • He is “Checked By” authority for design documents prepared by subordinates and “Prepared By” authority for design documents prepared by self.
  • Ownership of the projects. Plan and organize the work within the project design team.
  • Act as technical interface with customer and other design teams.
  • As Technical lead of the project you will be responsible for timely completion of design with Correctness and quality of engineering deliverables of the project. Takes lead in solving the design issues with other suppliers, clients, etc. during execution of the project.
  • Responsible for complete design coordination, BOQ to be ordered, design support to manufacturing, design support to Testing & Commissioning.
  • Ensures the optimization of the electrical design in terms of cost and customer requests, in accordance with ABB technical standards and with material cost estimated at quotation stage.
  • Discuss and explain with the customer ABB technical solutions in order to have a good relationship with the customer and to have a clear picture of all job details.
  • Establish and maintain a design library of standard solutions.
  • Conduct customer technical trainings as required by project.
