Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a Schedule ‘A’ Mini-ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise fully owned by the Government of India, is inviting applications for the position of Chief General Manager on deputation basis. Established on 13th January 2006, SPMCIL undertakes the designing, manufacturing, and printing of currency and bank notes, passports, non-judicial stamp papers, postage stamps, and minting of coins.

Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL), a Schedule „A‟ Mini-Ratna Category–I Central Public Sector Enterprise wholly owned by the Government of India, started functioning as a Corporatized entity with effect from 13th January 2006. SPMCIL is engaged in the manufacture/ production of Currency and Bank Notes, Security Paper, Non- Judicial Stamp Papers, Postal Stamps & Stationery, and Travel Documents viz. Passport and Visa, Security certificates, Cheques, Bonds, Warrants, Special Certificates with security features, Security Inks, Circulation & Commemorative Coins, Medallions, Refining of Gold & Silver, and Assay of Precious Metals.
SPMCIL is under the administrative control of the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance having its registered Corporate Office at Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi – 110001.
The Operational Units of the Company are strategically located across the Country having its four Mints at
Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Noida, four Currency / Security presses at Nashik, Dewas, and Hyderabad,
besides a high-quality Paper manufacturing mill and Currency Paper manufacturing Unit at Narmadapuram.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualifications: First class B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, Metallurgical, Electronic Engineering, Printing Technology, Chemical Engineering, or Pulp and Paper Technology from a recognized University.
- Experience: Government Officers holding analogous post on a regular basis in Pay level 14 in pay matrix as revised per 7th Pay Commission or PSU Executives in IDA pay scale of Rs.1,20,000-2,80,000/- (revised as per 3rd PRC) or equivalent.
How to Apply:
- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-I) provided in the advertisement, preferably type-written.
- Ensure to attach self-attested copies of educational qualifications, age, and experience certificates.
- Include attested photocopies of the complete and up-to-date Annual Performance Appraisal Reports for the last 5 years (including 2022-23).
- The application, duly forwarded by the Competent Authority along with a certificate in Annexure-II, should reach the Joint General Manager (HR), Security Printing & Minting Corporation of India Ltd., 16th Floor, Jawahar Vyapar Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi – 110001 through registered/speed post by 12.06.2024.
