Qualification
To apply for GPSC Gujarat Engineering Service (Civil) Recruitment 2026, the candidate must possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) from a recognized university or institution in India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Basic knowledge of Computer Applications as prescribed under Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment Rules.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Candidates who have appeared in the degree examination and are awaiting results may also apply for the Preliminary Examination. However, such candidates must produce proof of passing the degree examination before admission to the Main Examination.
Age Limit
As per the advertisement, the candidate must:
- Have completed 20 years
- Not have completed 35 years
- Age will be calculated as on 15 April 2026
Salary and Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive an attractive salary under the Gujarat government pay structure:
- Class I Posts: Rs. 67,700 to 2,08,700 under R.O.P. 2016, Level 11
- Class II Posts: Rs. 53,100 to 1,67,800 under R.O.P. 2016, Level 09
