Age Limit
- Candidates must be aged between 18 and 30 years as on April 1, 2024. Age relaxations apply as follows:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years (up to 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates)
- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age relaxation of 5 years
- VOC Port Authority Employees: Upper age limit is 55 years
Qualifications

Nationality
- Must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who settled in India before January 1, 1962, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.
