Key Responsibilities:

Regular maintenance of electrical machinery onboard port vessels.

Daily inspection of motors and other electrical systems for performance.

Oversight and control of all electrical systems, including deck and engine room machinery.

For Merchant Navy Officers:

5 years apprenticeship training in an approved Electrical Engineering Workshop + approved course of study in Electrical Engineering

OR BE (Electrical)

Must have passed the Electrical Supervisor’s Examination

For Indian Navy Personnel:

Ex-Indian Navy with POELP qualification or above (Electrical Power Side)

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in repair of electrical machinery onboard vessels.

Preference to candidates with experience in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
Remuneration:

₹46,500 per month (Consolidated)
