Rourkela Steel Plant invites applications for 1st Phase from the candidates for Apprenticeship Training as Graduate/Technician Apprentices and Trade Apprentices for a period of 01(0ne) year under the Apprenticeship Act 1961/1973 in the categories mentioned below:

Qualification
Candidates Should possess ITI/Diploma/ B.Tech (Relevant Engg)
 Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years as on date 10th Auqust, 2024
Stipend
The apprentices are eligible for a monthly stipend as per Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules 1992 as amended from time to time during their engagement period.
Reservation
As per the quidelines of Govt. of Odisha, shall be followed with applicable age relaxation.
Selection
Selection for engagemernt of Apprentices for training would be on merit basis, considering their percentage (%) of final marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualifications as applicable to respective branch/trade.
Recruitment before filling online Registration
- Before applying for above apprentices positions, candidates have to fist register themselves in online portals of the following agencies of Govt of India:
- For Trade Apprentices: In the link https:/apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- For Graduate/Technician Apprentices: National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) in the link https://nats.education.gov.in
II. The candidate must have an active email ID and Mobile Number which must be valid for at least next one year. Al future communication including Corigendum/Addendum with regard to this adverti ertisement take place only through e-mail /SMS Alerts.
I. The candidate must ascertain the correctness of all information before filling in the online registration and its final submission.
V. The candidate shal be wholl/exclusively responsible for the information provided in his/her online registration.
V. After successfully registration/apply online, the candidate must take a print out of the filled-in online application for future reference.
How to Apply
- For ITI: Candidates are first required to register in the web portal https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in for registration as candidate. After registering oneself, one can login into the home page in the apprenticeship portal as candidate t then go to Apprenticeship Opportunity then click search by Establishments Name R0UE RKELA STEEL PLANT) to click on apply as the prescribed trade against vacancies appearing on the portal. The candidates have to apply for the respective trade through Apprenticeship Opportunity of the establishment SAL Rourkela Steel Plant. The application will not be accepted without registration and apply on the portal.
- For Degree/Diploma: Candidates are advised to register as a student online on https://nats.education.gov.in. After registering oneself, one can login into the home page of NATS portal as candidate then go to Establishments Requests then click Find Establishments. Candidate
should select STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA LIMITED, Rourkela Steel Plant, Rourkela apply in passed out branch of engineering appearing on the portal
