a. Essential: Degree in Electrical Engineering /Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Mechanical Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering of a recognized institutions or equivalent with two years experience in any one of the following field under Central Government [State Government / Government undertaking.

Selection Procedure
Written test will be conducted by the agency approved by the Lakshadweep Administration. Written competitive examination consists of two parts. Selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained in the written examination in respective qualification (Electrical / Mechanical).

Candidates should apply only in the prescribed format. The application form will be available in the website of Lakshadweep Administration. The duly filled application form along with self attested copies of proof age, educational qualifications, community, etc. and with declaration as per format should reach to Executive Engineer (Electrical), Department of Electricity, Lakshadweep Administration, Kavaratti – 682 555 on or before the closing date and time. Application received after the closing date and time will not be considered. The department will not be responsible for any postal delay.
