Government of India (GoI) is developing various Industrial Corridor Projects as part of National Industrial Corridor Development Programme.

Industrial Corridor Development and Corporation (NICDC) Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle has been set up for coordinated implementation of the industrial corridor projects across the country. NICDC has been mandated to act as the Project Development Partner or Knowledge Partner to all Project SPVs, State Government agencies and Central Govt. for the implementation of industrial corridor projects.

In addition to above, NICDC is being engaged as Property Management Agency (PMA) by
Ministry of Textiles for implementation and monitoring of PM MITRA Parks.

Post Details

The designation shall be “Deputy General Manager (Project Management)” and candidate selected will be deployed on a contractual basis for a period of two (02) years. Reporting will be directly to senior officials of NICDC Ltd. The job location will be in Delhi/ NCR and may require frequent travel.

Age

Candidate shall not be above 45 years of age as on 30th June, 2025.

Qualification

Should be B. Tech/ BE in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ and Postgraduate in Projects Management/ Construction Management from a reputed college/ university with good academic record. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is desirable.

Experience

Minimum 17 years of experience. Desirable experience in the development and management of Infrastructure / Industrial parks / smart cities / textile parks on EPC/PPP/BOT

Responsiblities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Establish reporting, evaluation and monitoring systems for the Management
  • Responsible for covering all the areas of project management like – Project Initiation, Design planning, Cost Management, Time management and Quality Safety management
  • Contribute to Project obhectives through the effective development of feasbility report, DPRs, Project budgets & Cash flows, Project management plan etc.
  • Contract management including procurement / contract conditions, tenders, estimate, costing and billing, contract documentations etc.
  • Matters related to land acquisition, quality assurance, safety, shifting of utilities etc. in the project
  • Liaise with government bodies, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project progression.
  • Manage relationships with Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)/Master Developers and other entities involved in project implementation.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project budgets, control expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of planning and implementation of multifunctional nature of Industrial and infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of Contractual commercial, financial and legal regulations
  • Strong leadership and decision-making ability
  • Analytical ability and proficiency in project management tools and software such as MSP/Primavera etc
  • Ability to foster collaborative work environment in a multi-cultural and multiethnic environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of project structuring and procurement of large infrastructure projects under PPP/EPC mode of delivery will be an added advantage
  • Conversant with Government procurement guidelines like GFR, Manual of procurement of works, services and consultancy of FIDIC
  • Arbitration & Claims Management.

Pay

The position shall be at E6 grade level in the Basic pay scale range of Rs 90,000-2,40,000/- (CTC Rs.24,68,000/-). However, higher compensation may consider for highly deserving candidate.
