Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed for each post as mentioned in the detailed advertisement (Appendix ‘A’) and eligibility conditions (Appendix ‘B’) available on the official BSF website.
The educational qualifications and experience should align with the BSF Air Wing Officers (Group ‘A’) Recruitment Rules, 2023.
Age Limit and Relaxation

Age limit shall be as per government norms for deputation or absorption.

Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as follows:

Women: up to 5 years

SC/ST: up to 5 years

OBC: up to 3 years

Persons with Disabilities (PwD): up to 10 years

For Ex-Servicemen: Eligible candidates may apply on a deputation-cum-reemployment or re-employment basis as per BSF rules.
Pay, Allowances, and Benefits
Selected officers will receive pay and allowances as per the Central Government norms. In addition to the basic pay, they will be entitled to:
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- Accommodation or HRA
- Uniform Grant
- Leave Travel Concession (LTC)
- Medical Facilities
- Deputation Allowance
- Risk and Hardship Allowances (where applicable)
All benefits will be granted as per Government of India instructions issued from time to time.
Place of Posting
The place of posting will be anywhere in India as per the operational requirements of the BSF Air Wing.
