In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub Section 8[2] read with sub section 2[bJ of section 77 of the Gu,arat water supply and Sewerage Board Act, 1978 and in supersession of all the rules or regulations made in this behall the Guiarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board hereby makes the following regulations to provide for regulating recruitment to the post of Assistant Engineer [Civil) in the Guiarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board namely

Pay scale Rs. 44,900-1,42,400/- [Level-8] in the GWSSB Service
Age
Minimum Age: Must have completed 21 years on the last date of Advertisement. Maximum Age: Must not have completed 35 years on the last date of Advertisement Age will be calculated on the last date of the receipt of the application.
Qualification
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) obtained from any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. OR possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- The basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967; and
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi Or Both
