Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering & Research (SAMEER) is a premier RF & Microwave R&D Laboratory under the aegis of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. It has 5 Centres all over the country and undertakes state of the art design and development projects in advanced/next generation technologies and also providing electromagnetic
compliances and consultancy services for the industry. SAMEER provides the right environment for
budding engineering and science graduates to gain hands-on experience with latest technology,
instrumentation and softwares. It gives opportunity to meet and interact with eminent scientists and
academia which is a great starting point to further ones professional and academic goals.

SAMEER is looking for suitable persons at Mumbai / Navi-Mumbai for its various projects on consolidated pay. These are contractual appointments and shall not confer any right for regularization / absorption or continuation of service in SAMEER. Qualification

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E. or B. Tech.) in the field in Electronics & Telecommunications, Electronics, Instrumentation & Controls, Microwave from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E.  or B. Tech.) in Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E. or B. Tech.) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with diploma in HVAC or relevant experience from a recognized Institution/University with minimum 55% marks.
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Bachelor Degree in Technology (B.E. or B. Tech.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University with minimum 55% marks.
• Master’s degree in Science (Atmospheric Sciences /Space Science/Ocean Science/Meteorology/Climate Science /Geophysics (Meteorology) /Physics /Mathematics (specialized in computational applied mathematics) or equivalent subjects with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University or equivalent.
• B.Sc. (Chemistry) from a recognized university with minimum of 55% marks.
• Candidate should have passed ITI (Electronics/Electronics-Mechanic) from govt. affiliated board of technical/vocational education and completed NCTVT with minimum of 55% marks

Age Limit

• Project Engineer / Project Associate –  28 years
• Project Scientific Assistant (A)  – 25 years
• Project Technical Assistant (A) – 25 years
• Project Technical Assistant (B) 3 years and above 30 years

Duration of Contract

TWO YEARS (2-Years contract OR duration of the project, whichever is less)

Consolidated Pay/Remuneration

• Project Engineer / Project Associate Rs. 34,000/- per month
• Project Scientific Assistant (A) Rs. 23,500/- per month
• Project Technical Assistant (A) Rs. 21,000/- per month
• Project Technical Assistant (B) Rs. 23,500/- per month

How to Apply

• Applications for all posts shall be accepted online only.
• Interested candidates shall apply through the website https://recruitment.sameer.gov.in up to midnight of the closing date of the advertisement. Detailed instructions and deadlines for submission of the online application are available on the said website. Candidates may edit their application before final submission. Upon clicking “FINAL SUBMIT”, a PDF copy of the application shall be generated. Candidates must take a printout of the same and produce it along with all original documents and one set of self-attested photocopies at the time of written test and/or interview.
• Candidates applying for the posts of Project Engineer / Project Associate / Project Scientific Assistant / Project Technical Assistant, who fulfil the prescribed qualifications, shall be required to appear for written test(s) for the purpose of screening.
• No candidate shall be permitted to appear for the written test and/or interview without the printout of the online submitted application (PDF file).
• The results of the screening test (written examination) shall be declared, and only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview, either on the same day or on a subsequently notified date.
• Candidates must possess the prescribed experience in one or more relevant fields, as specified under the column “Experience”, and shall be required to produce documentary proof in support thereof.
• The crucial date for reckoning experience shall be the closing date of application. Experience acquired prior to obtaining the essential qualification shall not be taken into consideration. Selection shall be made purely on merit, and mere experience of working at SAMEER shall not confer any preferential claim.
• The prescribed essential qualifications and experience are the minimum requirements. Mere possession of the same shall not entitle any candidate to be called for written test, skill test, or interview.
