VCL Group (Varindera Constructions Ltd.) is hiring an experienced Project Head for upcoming heavy industrial projects in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The organization is seeking senior professionals with strong EPC experience and a proven track record in executing large-scale industrial, data centre, or power plant projects.

This is a leadership opportunity for candidates with extensive civil engineering expertise and hands-on experience in managing high-value construction projects from end to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a proven track record of on-time completion of large-scale, high-value industrial or building projects

• Lead end-to-end execution of core and shell works for heavy industrial or data centre projects

• Develop and implement detailed execution plans for civil, structural, and architectural shell works

• Manage RCC structures, steel structures, foundations, basements, superstructure, façade interfaces, and building envelope works

• Ensure adherence to structural drawings, approved design specifications, and construction methodologies

• Coordinate with design consultants and structural engineers for technical clarifications and approvals

• Plan and monitor construction schedules to achieve milestone-based delivery

• Optimize manpower, construction equipment, shuttering systems, and material utilization

• Control project budgets, monitor cost performance, and implement cost optimization strategies

• Oversee subcontractor management, work certification, and billing processes

• Ensure strict compliance with QA/QC standards and safety protocols

• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain a zero-incident culture

• Manage statutory approvals and local authority compliance

• Identify and mitigate construction risks and project delays proactively

• Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and financial reporting

• Lead and mentor site engineers, construction managers, and supervisors

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 20 years of experience in EPC companies

• Strong civil engineering background

• Experience in heavy industrial projects, data centres, or power plant construction

• Expertise in RCC, steel structures, foundations, and structural execution

• Strong leadership, budgeting, and risk management skills

• Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
