About the Role

Isgec is looking for an experienced professional to join its Industrial Boilers Division and lead business development efforts across thermal power plants, captive power plants, and industrial boiler segments. The role demands a candidate who can identify new business opportunities, nurture key client and industry relationships, track tenders and retrofit projects, and lead end-to-end techno-commercial discussions.

This is a senior-level opportunity best suited for candidates with a deep understanding of the boiler industry, power plant business development, and industrial engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities in thermal power plants, captive power plants, and industrial boiler segments

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with:

    • Utilities

    • EPC contractors

    • Consultants

    • Government bodies

  • Track upcoming tenders, projects, and retrofit opportunities

  • Lead techno-commercial proposals, negotiations, and contract closures

  • Support strategic business expansion in the industrial boiler and power sector

  • Drive market development initiatives and strengthen business presence in target segments

Essential Requirement

Candidates must have relevant experience in industrial boilers for thermal and captive power plants. This experience is essential for the role.

Desired Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • 15 to 25 years of experience in boiler marketing, business development, or related industrial sectors

  • Proven experience in industrial boilers, thermal power, and captive power plant markets

  • Strong understanding of techno-commercial proposals, contract negotiations, and tender processes

  • Ability to build and manage senior-level business relationships across the engineering and power ecosystem

  • Strong communication, business strategy, and client management skills
