Applications are invited for filling up one post of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil), in the scale of pay of Rs. 80,000-2,20,000 in Cochin Port Authority by deputation method from Officers analogous posts or Officers holding post of Superintending Engineer and equivalent posts in the respective discipline of Civil Engg. Dept. in the scale of pay of Rs.60000- 180000/- with 3 years regular service in the grade in Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Bodies. The selection is by merit for which the bench mark in overall grading in the Annual Confidential will not be below “Very Good”. The requisite Essential Educational Qualification as
per Recruitment Rules is uA Degree or equivalerit in Civil Engg. from a recognised University/l nstitution”. Recruitment Rules enclosed as Annexure-|.

How to Apply
Applications of eligible and wilting officerr, *no satisfy the provisions of the Recruitment Rules for the post of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil), may please be forwarded as per Proforma enclosed (Annexure ll) along with the following documents, duly superscribing the envelope as “Application for the post of Deputy Chief Engineer (Civil), Cochin Port Authority” through proper channel so as to reach on or before 22.04.2025.
(a) Attested copies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARS/ACRs) of the applicant for the last 5 years.
(b) A statement showing year-wise availability of APAR/ACRs and grading duly signed by the Competent Authority. lf APAR for a particular period during the last 5 years is not available, “No Report Certificate” may be furnished along with the APARs of preceding years.
(c)Attested copies of Certificates of academic qualification to prove eligibility.
(d) No-Objection Certificate of the concerned Organisation.
(e) An undertaking of the applicant not to withdraw his/her candidature, if selected. Officials, who withdraw his/her candidature for the Post after his/her selection by the Services Selection Committee, will be liable for debarment from future selection to Dy. HOD level posts in all Major Ports for a period of two years. (0 Certificate by Head of Office of the applicant as per the format (Annexure lll).
(g) Vigilance status of the candidates in the prescribed Proforma (Annexure- lV) duly signed by the CVO of the concerned Organisation. lf any major or minor penalty has been imposed on the applicant during the last 10 years, the disciplinary case leading to such penalty along with necessary documents may be sent by the forwarding authority along with the application.
