These posts are to be filled on a deputation (including short-term contract) basis for a period of three (03) years, extendable as per norms.

Service Requirement (any one of the following):
- Holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
- Five years of regular service in Level-12 (₹78,800–₹2,09,200).
- Ten years of regular service in Level-11 (₹67,700–₹2,08,700).
Educational Qualification:

A Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution
OR -
Passed Part ‘A & B’ Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil Engineering.
Experience Required:

Minimum 10 years of experience in planning, execution, or maintenance of Civil Engineering Projects.

- Officers in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for deputation.
- Deputationists cannot be considered for promotion.
- Maximum age for appointment on deputation (ISTC): 56 years as on the closing date.
- Period of deputation including past deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 5 years.
