Position: Bridge Design Engineer
Qualifications
-
M.Tech (Structures) from a top-ranked institute
-
Strong academic background in structural engineering
Experience Requirements
-
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in:
-
Major bridge design projects
-
Prestressed concrete structures
-
Steel bridge structures
-
Technical Skills & Knowledge
-
Hands-on experience in bridge structural analysis and design
-
Proficiency in:
-
SOFiSTiK (preferred)
-
Rhino + GH (Grasshopper) – added advantage
-
-
Good understanding of:
-
Indian Roads Congress (IRC) codes
-
Load combinations and design standards
-
Structural detailing and documentation
-
Role & Responsibilities
-
Design and analysis of major bridge structures
-
Preparation and review of:
-
Design calculations
-
Structural drawings
-
Technical reports
-
-
Coordination with drafting, checking, and project teams
-
Supporting senior engineers in complex design solutions
-
Ensuring quality, safety, and code compliance in all designs
