Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd. (MRVC), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has announced openings for Project Engineers (Signal & Telecom) on a contractual basis. MRVC is responsible for executing the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) and developing the Mumbai Suburban Rail System.

Pay Scale & Benefits

• Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 (IDA equivalent E1 grade).

• Basic Pay: ₹40,000/- per month.

• Other Benefits:

  • Dearness Allowance, HRA, Travel Allowance, Provident Fund, and Cafeteria Allowances.

  • Entitlements such as mobile phone, laptop, Sodexo (as per corporation policy).

  • Pay protection for eligible PSU candidates in IDA E1 grade.

• Leave Entitlements:

  • 8 days Casual Leave, 2 Restricted Holidays, 10 Sick Leave (per 6 months), 12 Special Leave annually.

• Medical Facilities: As per MRVC policy.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 19.08.2025.

  • OBC: Relaxation of 3 years.

  • SC: Relaxation of 5 years.

• Educational Qualification:

  • BE/B.Tech (with not less than 70% marks) in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication Engineering from AICTE-recognised university.

  • CGPA/OGPA should be converted as per university norms.

  • No rounding-off permitted (e.g., 69.99% not acceptable).

• Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in PSUs or reputed organizations as Project Engineer or equivalent.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Signal & Telecom (S&T).

Service Agreement

Selected candidates must serve MRVC for at least 2 years, executing a Surety Bond of ₹1 lakh on ₹500 stamp paper.

Selection Process

• Preliminary screening of applications.
• Shortlisting (up to 5 times the vacancies) based on marks and experience.
• Document verification and personal interaction.
• Final selection on merit basis (qualification, experience, and interview performance).

Contract Period

• Initial engagement: 2 years, extendable yearly based on performance and mutual consent.
• Standby panel may be maintained for future requirements.
• Note: These are contractual posts and do not lead to permanent absorption in MRVC.
