Qualification

M.Sc in Chemistry / Biochemistry from a recognized university or equivalent with two years’ research
experience.

M.Sc in Biotechnology/ Biological Science OR B.Tech Civil /Mechanical Engineering.

Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering.

B. Tech in Food Technology / Food Engineering / Food Process Engineering.

B. E/B. Tech in Metallurgy / Materials Science/ Mechanical/ Automotive from a recognized university or
equivalent and two years of experience.

Selection Method

The shortlisted candidates will be called for an ONLINE INTERVIEW. The date and time of the online interview will be notified on our website www.niist.res.in in due course.

Process to Apply

Eligible candidates are required to apply online through CSIR-NIIST website https://www.niist.res.in/english/category/careers/temporary-positions only. No other mode of application will be accepted.

Age

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped and female candidates applicable as per
GOI/CSIR Rules. The date for determining the upper age limit, qualification, and experience will be the
closing date of the online application i.e. 24-05-2021.
