Program Engineer (Fire Safety) – 01 Post
Qualification for IIT Gandhinagar
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree and completed the Divisional Officer’s course or the Fire Prevention Course at the National Fire Service College Nagpur; along with four years relevant experience
or
a Degree of Bachelor of Engineering (Fire)/Bachelor of Technology (Fire)/ Bachelor of Engineering (Fire and Safety)/ Bachelor of Technology (Fire/Safety) Bachelor of Science (Fire) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India, or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 along with four years relevant experience”
Consolidated Monthly Pay
Rs. 60,000/- to Rs. 93,000/- per month based on the experience and credentials of the candidate.
Tenure
One year, with the possibility of extension based on the incumbent’s performance and the institute’s requirements.
Age Limit
35 years as on 30-11-2025
Role and Responsibility
- Operations and maintenance of firefighting system, fire alarm system installed in various buildings.
- conducting safety audits, conducting mock-drills, fire & safety training, meetings.
- Handling safety-related jobs like incident/ accident reporting/ investigation analysis, safety inspection, job safety analysis, shutdown safety, construction safety.
- Liaoning with the various state and central govt. department for NOC and other documentations.
- Other duties assigned by the Institute time to time
