Qualifcaition
- Retired Major Port employees on the post of Chargeman /Foreman. And having 2 year experience in
the field of maintenance and operation of oil hydraulic and mechanical systems of gates/sluices/caisoon. - Retired Major Port employees on the post of fitter. And having 2 years of experience in the field of maintenance and operation of oil hydraulic and mechanical systems of gates/sluices/caissons.
Monthly Remuneration (Rs.) (b)
50% of their last pay drawn at the time of retirement.
Monthly Travelling Allowances (Rs.) (c)
- Lock Gate Technician – 2000
- Assistant Technician – 1000
How to Apply
Step 1: The willing and eligible retired employees are required to download and take print of the application form (Annexure I) and terms of condition of hiring (Annexure II) from MbPA’s website ‘(www.mumbaiport.gov.in) > People & Career > Jobs > Advertisements’ menu.
Step 2: The retired employees are required to fill application form in all respect and submit the duly filled and signed application form and terms and conditions of hiring by hand delivery or by post in the office of Assistant Executive Engineer, 2nd floor, sustainability house, goa street, Ballard estate, mumbai – 400 001 along with selfattested required documents, on and before due date i.e. 13.04.2026. Applications received after the due date of submission or incomplete applications will be rejected and no further correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Mb.P.A. is not responsible for postal delay/loss at any stage of communication from either side.
