Shapoorji Pallonji Engineering & Construction is hiring for the position of Senior Structural Design Engineer (Temporary Structures) for its Mumbai head office.
This opportunity is suited for experienced structural engineering professionals with strong expertise in temporary structure design and analysis, including load calculations and the use of leading structural design software such as ETABS and STAAD Pro. Candidates with prior exposure to residential and commercial projects will be preferred.

Job Title: Senior Structural Design Engineer

Experience Required: 6+ Years
Location: Mumbai
Key Requirements
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of experience in structural design
- Proficiency in STAAD Pro, ETABS, or similar structural engineering tools
- Strong knowledge of load calculations and relevant design codes
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills
- Experience in temporary structure design and analysis
- Prior experience in residential and commercial projects will be preferred
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing temporary structures such as formwork, scaffolding, staging, and related systems
- Performing load calculations including dead load, live load, wind load, and seismic load analysis
- Preparing design calculations, drawings, and technical reports
- Ensuring compliance with relevant structural codes and safety standards
- Coordinating with site teams for execution support and technical guidance
