Position Overview
The organization is seeking an accomplished Domain Expert – Structure Design to join its team in Mumbai. The ideal professional will bring extensive technical knowledge in structural design, retrofitting, and rehabilitation, combined with strong collaboration and analytical skills. This role requires proven experience working with leading institutions and compliance with national and international engineering standards.
Role & Responsibilities

Collaborates with structural consultants, government bodies, and institutes such as IITs/NITs to design structures for repair and retrofitting projects.

Designs the structural framework of buildings and infrastructure, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, design codes, and regulatory requirements.

Ensures compliance with relevant Indian and international building standards such as IS Codes, Eurocodes, and AISC.

Conducts site inspections to assess structural conditions, identify risks, and recommend improvements.

Performs structural analysis, calculations, and simulations to evaluate stability, strength, and performance of structures.

Utilizes tools such as STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, and CAD software for design and analysis.

Reviews and prepares shop drawings, providing technical guidance to clients and applicators.

Prepares detailed technical reports on field visits, project feasibility, and progress updates.

Demonstrates sound understanding of construction materials, processes, and methodologies.
Required Qualification

Essential: M.Tech / M.E. in Civil Engineering (Structural specialization preferred)
Experience

Essential: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a structural consultancy firm, with a strong focus on design and engineering delivery.
