GESCOM announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed ITI, Diploma, B.Tech/B.E for the position of Junior Lineman, Junior Engineer and other vacancies.

Total no. of posts –397 posts

1. Junior Lineman (ITI) -142 posts
2. Junior Engineer (Diploma)- 68 Posts
3. Assistant Engineer – 147 posts
4. Assistant Executive Engineer – 31 posts
5. Junior Personal Assistant – 09 posts

How to Apply

1. Candidates are allowed to apply for KPTCL and any one of the Electricity Supply Companies of their choice only. Preference for selection among the two shall be given in the application.
   2. Submission of more than one application for a particular post is not permissible. However, if the candidates submit more than one application, only the last application submitted by the candidates shall be considered.
   The fee submitted for the remaining applications shall not be refunded.
   3. Applications shall be submitted strictly ‘online’ by logging on to following websites. Applications will not be accepted by any Other mode.
   4. The website wilt is kept open for submission of online applications from 05.03.2019 to 04.04.2019. The last date for submission of online application is 17.00 hours (5.00 p.m.) of 04.04.2019. Before filling up the online application forms, the eligible candidates shall go through instructions made available in the website. An application fee is payable through any Post Office in the jurisdiction Of Karnataka.
   5. In addition to the prescribed Application Fee, an additional amount of 18/- (Rupees Eighteen only)(Inclusive Of GST) will have to be added as service charges of Postal department.
   6. The candidates should pay the Application fee at any of the Post Offices in the jurisdiction of Karnataka during working hours between 05.03.2019 to 05.04.2019 only.
   7. After submitting the application online, the candidates should obtain the print-outs Of Post Office challan and should pay the application fee at any e-post Office in the jurisdiction Of Karnataka and furnish the same as and when called for.
   8. The last date for payment of application fee at e-PQ}t Office is 05.04.2019 The e-payment made in the Post Offices may be confirmed in www.karnatakapost.gov.in after two days Of making payment. Payment of application fee by any other mode such as Cheque, DD, Money Order, Postal Order etc., will not be accepted.
   9. Candidates are allowed to apply only once and application once submitted cannot be altered under any circumstances. In case Of candidates applying for more than one post, both the online application and the prescribed fee shall be submitted separately.
