Duties And Responsibilities:
- Visiting and inspecting building sites
- Managing the quality of work in site
- Inspect the construction site to ensure the appropriate level of quality control in all the phases.
- Identify and utilize the talented people to maximize productivity and quality of work
- To assure that every process is running according to standards, supervise and facilitate equipment and component installation
- Adhering to both budgetary and time constraints
- To stay on budget, monitor the material and tools spending
- Maintain records for all construction dates and project cost
- Coordinate with material and supply chain management to have adequate supply in the site
- Finding and managing contractors and sub-contractors
- Manage the communication with contractors and managers
- Preparing work schedules for contractors and laborers
- Assist the construction manager in preparing a schedule for different projects
- Reporting on progress and challenges in the site to the manager
- Preparation of construction progress reports from the site to be provided to the manager
- Assist the construction manager in the closeout process and ensure appropriate filing of all paperwork
- Assist the construction manager to provide all the safety needs
- Learning and applying the latest construction methods and technologies
- Participate in various training sessions
- Participate in various project meetings and maintain records of all construction dates and project costs
- Manage multiple construction projects at one given time and prepare construction progress reports for all projects on an everyday basis
- Prepare various documents for all implementation of activities and ensure approval for same and assist to distribute all final documents
Qualification And Experience Needed For Construction Coordinator
DEGREE LEVEL: Bachelor’s degree
DEGREE FIELD: Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction or Building Science, or another related field
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 2 years experience in a construction site, a higher level of experience(5-8years) may be required based on the size and complexity of the project.
