Position: Senior Safety Engineer

As a Senior Safety Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-impact projects in the energy and infrastructure space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the safety engineering scope of work and estimate work norms.

  • Prepare project deliverables such as HSE Plans, Design Basis, Procedures, and Schedules.

  • Lead Active & Passive Fire Protection Design.

  • Conduct Hazardous Area Classification and Fireproofing analysis.

  • Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL workshops and manage related deliverables.

  • Prepare CTR estimates, reports, and progress updates.

  • Lead and mentor engineers and technicians, ensuring best practices.

  • Coordinate with the client and inter-discipline departments.

  • Conduct QRA and other fire & explosion risk studies.

  • Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance and OH&S procedures.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in hazard identification and risk assessment.

  • Strong understanding of fire protection engineering.

  • Proven track record in safety design and analysis.

  • Experience in preparing and managing project safety deliverables.

  • Capable of leading safety engineering teams and mentoring junior staff.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
