Role description:
- Ideally 4+ years professional experience
- Experience working and managing large projects
- You encourage individuals to pursue technical growth by mentoring and coaching
- Support the growth of the planning and consenting capability
- Providing planning advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues
- Practical working knowledge of the UK planning system and consenting process will be good
- Assisting with or leading on the preparation of consent applications and advising on the planning aspects of complex schemes, which may include Town and Country Planning, Development Consent Order, Transport and Works Act etc
- Extensive experience operating in a global offshoring model
- Prior experience leading teams supporting UK will be an advantage
- Confident in building strong and lasting relationships with experts, at a regional and global level
Role accountabilities:

- Provide technical leadership as a Subject Matter Expert in their area of expertise
- Ensure work forecasting, planning and resourcing requirement of the Assessment & Urbanism team is monitored and tracked
- Ensure the quality check processes are followed
- Identify and support build areas of standardisation and automation
- Plan and identify the training and certification needs of the team members. Ensure that this is being imparted efficiently
- Support in the preparation of bids in area of expertise
- Manage the delivery of tasks in accordance with Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary and health and safety targets
- Providing technical direction and oversight on projects within the team including writing, checking and review of deliverables, with financial/commercial responsibility
- Working to ensure that best practises of delivery is adopted, and it is shared with relevant teams.
Promote both the regional and global culture of the business
Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters in Urban Design, Bachelors in Architecture
