Tata Motors Hiring Engineers for the post of Service Engineer.
Role/Designation: Service Engineer Â
Location: Delhi
No. of Positions:Â 10
Education: BE/BTech. (All Streams)
Experience:Â Minimum 3 Years of Experience
Position Summary –Â
To be responsible for operational processes for the Depot and enable end-to-end seamless execution of day to day activities at depot level to ensure customer loyalty resulting in superior business performance in collaboration with all stakeholders within the guidelines & processes laid down by Organization.
Job Responsibilities –
1.       Ensuring Bus Fleet Availability:
a. Â Â Â Â Â Ensuring timely morning and evening out shedding of trouble free & safe buses as per given set standards.
b. Â Â Â Â Â Preparing availability records of buses on daily and monthly basis
c. Â Â Â Â Â Â Coordinating with DTC on signing of Availability & maintenance related check sheets on a daily basis
2.       Mileage adherence:
a. Â Â Â Â Â Reconciling data with DTC on Route Kms, Penalties, and CNG usage
3. Â Â Â Â Â Minimizing Breakdown:
a. Â Â Â Â Â Prompt attending of breakdown buses.
b. Â Â Â Â Â Maintaining records of break downs, driver complaints, and Maintenance schedules in SAP for analysis purpose.
4.       Spare Parts Management:
a. Â Â Â Â Â Warehouse planning, timely ordering of parts to a central warehouse, accounting all the inward and outward details of parts in SAP on a daily basis
b. Â Â Â Â Â Monthly audit of depot stocks with coordination of finance dept.
c. Â Â Â Â Â Â Optimizing parts usage
5.       Schedule Adherence:
a. Â Â Â Â Â Attending timely Maintenance of buses as per schedule & standards with the help of SP team.
b. Â Â Â Â Â Ensuring Statutory compliance like PUC,CNG & MVI of buses as per schedule.
6.       Infrastructure Availability
a. Â Â Â Â Â Monitor and improve the functioning of the available infrastructure as per company norms in order to ensure the best customer experience
b. Â Â Â Â Â Ensure hygienic cleaning of Depot Premises.
c. Â Â Â Â Â Â To ensure an adequate number of quality manpower to achieve proper fleet maintenance.
7.       Tyre, Lubricants and Parts Management
a. Â Â Â Â Â Tyre check & maintenance of tyre card. Obtaining maximum tyre life.
b. Â Â Â Â Â Optimizing lubricant usage.
8. Â Â Â Â Â Training & Development:
a. Â Â Â Â Â Training of service provider administration and parts team on SAP.
b. Â Â Â Â Â Ensuring technical training of SP technical team on a monthly basis.
