Reservation for PwBD candidates will be applicable as per Government guidelines. The total number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on NTPC’s organizational requirements.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a B.E. / B.Tech degree in any of the following engineering disciplines with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution:

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Production Engineering
  • Electronics Engineering
  • Control & Instrumentation Engineering
  • Instrumentation Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

Additional qualifications such as MBA / PGDBM in Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management will be an added advantage.

Experience Requirement

Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification executive experience after B.E. / B.Tech. This may include training period, if applicable.

Out of the total experience, candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in any of the following areas:

  • Contracts
  • Purchase
  • Procurement
  • Materials Management
  • Combination of the above functions

Preference is relevant for candidates from the Power, Oil & Gas, or Steel sector.
