WSP India is excited to announce a Mega Recruitment Drive for experienced Bridge Design professionals to support UK infrastructure projects. This hiring initiative is focused on strengthening WSP’s Bridge Structures design teams in Mumbai, working on complex rail and highway bridge projects for the UK region.

Recruitment Drive Details

• Recruitment Dates: 29th & 30th January 2026

• Interview Mode: Virtual & Face-to-Face

• Job Location: Mumbai

• Business Unit: UK Infrastructure – Bridges

Please note: Interviews will be conducted only for shortlisted candidates.

Open Positions – Bridge Design (UK Region)

WSP is hiring for the following roles in Bridge Structures:

• Associate – Bridges

• Technical Lead – Bridges

• Team Leader – Bridges

• Technical Director – Civils

All positions are based in Mumbai and aligned with UK bridge infrastructure projects.

Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Experience: 12 to 25 years in Structural Bridge Design

• Education:

  • B.Tech in Civil Engineering

  • M.Tech in Structural Engineering

• Professional Membership:

  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng / MIStructE / MICE) – mandatory for senior roles

• Strong working knowledge of Eurocodes and UK bridge standards

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and manage GCC Civil / Bridge Design teams

• Deliver major and framework projects to UK quality standards

• Define team roles, responsibilities, and performance benchmarks

• Drive design excellence across rail and highway bridge structures

Technical & Capability Development

• Develop concept and detailed bridge designs

• Train and mentor future technical leaders

• Promote professional memberships and qualifications (ICE / IStructE)

• Support innovation, change management, and continuous improvement

Technical Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership in design delivery environments

• Strategic thinking with commercial awareness

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Proven experience delivering complex bridge projects

• Hands-on expertise with advanced analysis tools:

  • LUSAS

  • MIDAS

  • Grillage, Space Frame & FEM analysis
