As part of its global expansion, Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) is inviting experienced professionals to attend a walk-in interview for the position of Service Procurement Engineer. This role is critical for large-scale Power and Renewable EPC / Infrastructure projects across multiple international locations.
Candidates with strong exposure to subcontract procurement, techno-commercial negotiations, and EPC project environments are encouraged to apply.

Position: Service Procurement Engineer (EPC / Infra)
Experience Requirement
-
12–15 years of relevant experience
-
Mandatory exposure to EPC / Infrastructure / Power & Renewables projects
Key Skills & Competencies
-
Strong exposure to subcontracting and vendor management
-
Techno-commercial evaluations and negotiations
-
Coordination with project, planning, contracts, and SCM teams
-
Market intelligence and bottom-up costing analysis
-
Ability to work in international, multi-location project environments
Key Responsibilities
-
Procurement of main subcontracts including Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical works
-
Handling purchase of miscellaneous items, site-based services, and hiring of plant & machinery
-
Supporting Transmission Line (TL) and Substation (SS) projects from the SCM function
-
Posting at country offices or project sites in Angola, Chile, Cameroon, Guyana, and Uganda
-
Coordination with Business Teams, Consultants, Site Teams, and internal departments
-
Collation of RFQ documents, identification of local suppliers, bidder due diligence
-
Techno-commercial evaluations, internal approvals, and order placement
-
Post-award subcontractor management and continuous monitoring for timely execution
Functional reporting will be to the Head – Subcontracts Procurement (HO) and administrative reporting to the Country Manager.
